Tales of Manga Canceled After Author Old Tweets Surface. An illustrator who goes by the name “Purin a La Mode” has started work on a 4-Koma manga based on the Tales of JRPG series, as the Tales of Festival event will take place on June 10th and 11th.

But the manga was cancelled, and the reason is old tweets from the illustrator!

The official profile of the Tales of series communicated that the 4-Koma manga of the series made by Purin a La Mode was cancelled, and they still deleted all the chapters that had been released:

Despite not saying the reason for the cancellation clearly, fans speculate that the reason is 2015 tweets from the illustrator where he spoke badly of the series!

One of his tweets from 2015 is as follows:

“Symphonia is a shitty game with Zelos being really hot, Rebirth is a shitty game that only has the old popura, Abyss is a shitty game that only has the cute Natalia, in the end it doesn’t change the fact that they are all shitty games”.

Funny or not, when given the opportunity to start making the Tales of manga, Purin a La Mode said that he “has enjoyed Tales of since he was a kid”:
