The live-action series “Teasing Master Takagi-san” recently premiered on Netflix, leaving many fans delighted with the sweet and fun story of Takagi and Nishikata. The live-action series was responsible for adapting the manga story by chapters, and with the announcement of the movie, many fans believed it would complement the original manga story, which is not the case.

The movie’s story takes place 10 years in the future, developing after Takagi decides to leave the island to continue her life and study elsewhere, leaving Nishikata behind.

After 10 years, Nishikata is now a physical education teacher at the school and he has problems with his profession. When he least expects it, Takagi returns as a trainee teacher and the two start to relive the friendship they had 10 years before.
