Studio PPURI removed from Credits of Solo Leveling only in Korea
Solo Leveling is certainly one of the most appreciated anime by the audience this season, if not the most appreciated. However, the series is also not free from controversies.
Recently, the Korean studio called Studio PPURI, responsible for the ending of “Solo Leveling,” had its name removed from the credits for being associated with the feminist group called ”Megalian.”
Studio PPURI removed from Credits of Solo Leveling only in Korea
Below you can see where the name of Studio PPURI appears in the credits at the end of Solo Leveling, and apparently, in the South Korean version, the studio’s name was removed.
To better understand, the Megalian group is a Korean feminist group seen as very radical, so much so that its logo is a symbol of an emoji intended to mock masculine characteristics.
We recently published here the whole controversy involving Studio PPURI’s work, as it was discovered that in several animations the studio participated in, Megalian symbols were inserted without permission.
