Man Assaults Subordinate after Receiving Oshi no Ko Spoilers
Spoilers are a serious matter and have become a police case in Japan. The Kyoto prefectural police have sent a man in his 50s who works as a chief registrar at the Kyoto District Court to the prosecutor’s office on suspicion of assault, for grabbing and kicking his subordinate’s chest.
He allegedly became furious after receiving spoilers from the popular manga “Oshi no Ko” during a casual conversation and ended up committing the assault. The documents were sent to the prosecutor’s office on April 30.

According to sources, on February 1, during a casual conversation in the office where he was working at the time, the man became extremely irritated when his subordinate mentioned details about the plot of “Oshi no Ko.”
After hearing the spoilers, the assailant grabbed the subordinate by the chest and kicked him near the waist; the subordinate was not injured. The police station received a complaint from the subordinate and initiated an investigation.
The employee who was sent to the prosecutor’s office is currently working at the headquarters of the Kyoto District Court. The Kyoto Court refused to comment, stating that the investigation is still ongoing.
