7thTimeLoop Author Gives Special Thanks to Anime Production
On January 7, 2024, the anime “7thTimeLoop” (Loop 7-kaime no Akuyaku Reijou wa, Moto Tekikoku de Jiyuu Kimama na Hanayome Seikatsu wo Mankitsu suru) premiered, based on a light novel by author Amekawa Touko.
The anime ran for 12 episodes and concluded on March 24. In the story of 7thTimeLoop, our protagonist is named Rishe Irmgard Weitzner, the daughter of a duke. Her engagement is canceled, and she starts living alone. When she turns 20, she dies and goes back in time to the day her engagement was canceled.
She dies and goes back in time 7 times, each time due to a war that Arnold ends up starting. I know we’re already in the middle of the current season, but I wanted to highlight something very cool that the author did when the anime ended.

After the anime ended, the author of 7thTimeLoop went to her Twitter profile and made a long post thanking everyone for the anime adaptation. She thanked everyone for the excellent adaptation her light novel had. You can read the author’s full message below:
“The anime 🦋#7thTimeLoop has concluded with its final episode!! During its production, I continuously felt the dedication, love, and impressive skills that everyone involved poured into the work.
I deeply appreciated the attention to detail and the allure in every process and task, which brought me immense happiness throughout.
As the original author, my experience evolved into that of a fan, eagerly following the anime’s production!
I am profoundly grateful to the director, the animation team, voice actors, promotional team, and everyone who contributed wonderful music, as well as many others too numerous to list here, for the daily joy they provided. Thank you, truly, from the bottom of my heart.
The world of 7th Time Loop expanded for me through the anime you all created, deepening my love for the story and its characters. This was made possible thanks to the collaboration of professionals in each field!
I also want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Kino-sensei and others who contributed beyond the usual manga adaptation, as well as to Hachipi-sensei and the novel staff who supported the original light novel, and everyone at the publishing houses!
And to everyone who watched the anime, thank you again!! During each episode, I was bursting with excitement to share this anime with you, making these past three months a constant thrill.
Every kind word about the anime from you filled me with joy and happiness, creating a unique feeling as if we were sharing thoughts while watching the screen together.
I fear I might cry if I write too much, though I intended to keep this brief, it inevitably grew lengthy!!
I love you all! Thank you so much!! I hope my gratitude reaches every one of you!!”
Fans were very happy with the author’s message and expressed their desire for a second season to continue Rishe’s story. It’s worth noting that the anime had good animation.
