The Most Dropped Summer 2024 Animes with 3 Episodes

The Most Dropped Summer 2024 Animes with 3 Episodes

Keeping in mind the famous 3-episode rule and since most of the animes of the summer 2024 season have already aired 3 or even 4 episodes, let’s take a look at the 10 animes that have been dropped the most so far.

For this ranking we will be using the reliable and completely safe data from MyAnimeList, those statistics where anyone can say that they have “completed” the second season of Oshi no Ko even if it is still airing.

But even so, we will play around a bit and see which animes have the most “dropped” in their status!

The Most Dropped Summer 2024 Animes with 3 Episodes

10th Place with 2,117 fans who dropped: ALYA

Alya é um Romcom bem Divertido

Alya is a romcom about a girl who is interested in a boy, and as a true tsundere she speaks sweetly in Russian while in Japanese she is aggressive.

She believes that the boy does not understand Russian, but surprise! Because of a childhood friend he learned and understands everything she says, but he plays dumb.

With all the hype of the anime, it is expected that many people will be watching it and end up not liking it and decide to drop it.

9th place with 2,217 fans who dropped it: Tasuuketsu

Tasuuketsu

What if your life was hanging in the balance of a twisted game? A self-proclaimed “Emperor” gathered five young people through anonymous messages and asked them: “Do you want to live?” But the game only has one rule: “Most die.” Saneatsu and Saaya, among the five trapped individuals, unite to defeat the Emperor and end the game once and for all.

At the moment, this anime has a rating of 5 on MAL and 2.9 on Crunchyroll, showing that people are not enjoying it very much.

8th Place with 2,260 fans who dropped it: Senpai wa Otokonoko

Senpai wa Otokonoko

A romance anime about a girl who ends up falling in love with her senpai and confesses her feelings to her, but her senpai starts lifting her shirt and taking off her wig and saying, “I’m a boy.”

The girl then gets rejected but declares that she will become her senpai’s first love.

7th Place with 2,273 fans who dropped it: Isekai Shikkaku

Isekai Shikkaku

I only watched the first episode because I liked the waifus, and right from the first episode there was some good ecchi, which indicates to me that the rest of the series should have many more scenes like this. It’s about a guy who dies to Truck-kun and goes to another world, but he just wants to die in peace and is excited about nothing.

6th place with 2,345 fans who dropped it: Failure Frame

Failure Frame

I don’t know anything about the anime, so here’s the synopsis:

Abruptly catapulted into a fantasy world, Mimori Touka and her classmates have been summoned by the world’s resident goddess to serve as heroes. Fortunately, most of the students demonstrate incredible abilities upon arrival—except Mimori, whose abilities are at the very least a measly E-rank.

Without any further use for him, the goddess banishes Mimori to a dungeon from which no one has ever returned alive. However, as it turns out, Mimori’s abilities aren’t so much useless as they are abnormal. Abnormally powerful, even. If Mimori can just get back to the surface, nothing will stop him from getting his revenge.

5th Place with 2,667 fans who dropped: Boku no Tsuma wa Kanjou ga Nai

Boku no Tsuma wa Kanjou ga Nai

I haven’t watched it yet, but I know it’s about a guy who gets a robot wife. Here’s the synopsis:

Takuma is a single guy who does nothing but go to work and come home. Too tired to do chores, he decides to hire a robot to cook and take care of the house. “Mina-chan” is such a good housewife that Takuma jokes that she should become his wife.

Mina takes Takuma’s joke seriously, and slowly the two start doing more things together, like having a picnic outside. As time goes by, Takuma starts to fall in love with Mina, but can a human and a robot have an equal and loving relationship?

4th Place with 3,054 fans who dropped: Giji Harem

Anunciado anime de Giji Harem

HOW? I remember people loving this manga so I thought the anime would be liked by a lot of people, but it was just a lot of drops.

SYNOPSIS:

Eiji Kitahama has a dream shared by many high school boys: to be popular and have a harem of girls fawning over him. Luckily for him, his new drama club student, Rin Nanakura, has decided to help him achieve this dream. Using her impressive acting skills, she takes on many personalities, from provocative to calm and collected, to play characters in Eiji’s simulated harem.

As her connection with Eiji deepens, Rin expands her repertoire, quickly switching between characters as they enjoy school life together in the club. Through her acting, the real Rin Nanakura tries her best to win Eiji’s heart.

3rd Place with 3,523 fans who dropped: Maougun Saikyou no Majutsushi wa Ningen datta

Maougun Saikyou no Majutsushi wa Ningen datta

Another anime I haven’t watched, so here’s the synopsis:

“The strongest magician in the Maou army” I am called. Ike, a demon capable of capturing a fort single-handedly. Eliminating enemies with immense magic, he is undoubtedly a monster impressed by friends and foes alike. However, he has a secret that he cannot tell other demons. “I am actually human, you know.” Using modern knowledge to keep his secret, he has come to be treated as a great commander and the driving force of the Maou army.

2nd Place with 4,537 fans who dropped: Isekai Suicide Squad

Isekai Suicide Squad

There was a lot of hype around this anime, the author of Re:Zero is involved in the script of this manga and the first 3 episodes were released at once and I watched them.

To be honest I didn’t like it very much, Suicide Squad is something I can’t get myself to like no matter what media.

1st Place with 5,708 fans who dropped it: Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan

Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan

And first of all, that weird anime that everyone went to watch because of one of the most successful marketing campaigns in anime history, attracting people who would never watch it in the first place.

I haven’t brought it to the site yet, but there have been a lot of comments from Japanese people saying how the Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan anime isn’t interesting, how the jokes are bad, and that there are “much better mangas to animate”.
