Teacher got arrested for pouring bleach into students’ curry. The 25-year-old Ayana Hanzawa was arrested in September 2022 on suspicion of mixing bleach in a curry pot to be served to children for lunch.
The woman, who had previously worked as the class principal for the past two years, was unhappy about losing her position, so she put bleach in a curry pot for the sixth graders she used to teach.

Luckily no one was hurt as they noticed the strange smell and alerted the school teachers. When asked about the motive for the crime, she said: ”I didn’t want them to have happy memories without me. If they had an upset stomach, it would be a perfect way to stop them from going on the school trip”
Hanzawa reportedly bought the bleach at a pharmacy the day before the incident. Prosecutors recommended two years in prison for the crime, but the defense argued that she was overworked and stressed due to her workload at school and asked for a lighter sentence.
