Naked Man Arrested After Causing Chaos in Japan
A 48-year-old man has been sent to prosecutors following a series of violent crimes in Saitama, Japan, that shocked the local population. According to the police, the suspect, identified as Daisuke Nishimura, was arrested completely naked inside a cram school in the city of Soka after a series of attacks that resulted in one death and at least 10 people injured.

Authorities believe the crime spree began around 8:15 PM in the neighboring city of Kawaguchi. The first emergency call reported a “tattooed man acting suspiciously while driving slowly through a residential area.”
About 35 minutes later, in the Omagi area of Midori Ward, Saitama, two motorcycles were hit by a car — possibly driven by Nishimura. One of the motorcyclists, a 46-year-old local worker, died at the scene. Another 45-year-old man was severely injured.
Shortly after, several other crimes occurred in quick succession. A naked man was seen fleeing after causing an accident and stealing the other victim’s car. Then, a person matching the same description entered a convenience store naked and stole several items.
The police also believe the same man hijacked a taxi with two passengers aboard. The chaotic sequence ended around 9:40 PM when Nishimura was found and arrested inside the cram school in Soka. He is already facing charges of trespassing and assault after injuring a 59-year-old employee with a mug and hurting a 14-year-old girl by grabbing her arm.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the motive behind the attacks. The police are also analyzing the relationship between all the incidents that took place within that 90-minute window.
