Who’s the Mysterious Girl in Mushoku Tensei 2 Ep 8?
Episode 8 of Mushoku Tensei 2 had 2 well-defined plots. First, we witnessed the beginning of the relationship between Cliff and Elinalise, and then the appearance of the Demon Lord and his duel with Rudeus.
However, the anime omitted some information, which is obvious considering that it’s not possible to include everything in the anime. So, here, we’ll bring you some of the details that the anime didn’t show.
Cliff and Elinalise
Remember the encounter between Rudeus and Cliff when Cliff wanted to ask Rudeus for help regarding Elinalise? Before Rudeus knew what it was about, he used the power of his future-seeing eye. He had no idea what Cliff wanted, so he foresaw that it might involve some kind of conflict.
Another omitted thought was when Rudeus worried about not helping Cliff. He considered that if he didn’t assist Cliff with Elinalise, Cliff might see him as a romantic rival.
Upon arriving at the academy, Elinalise developed a liking for virgin boys, especially newcomers. She found their innocence quite charming, and it’s due to this new preference that Rudeus thought Elinalise would be happy to have Cliff in her bed.
Beastmen and Eris’ Rival
Beastmen make up 5% of the students at Ronoa’s Magical Academy, which has around 500 students. During the mating period, more beastmen travel from the Great Forest to Ronoa to challenge students to duels.
Obviously, the academy has reinforced security during this period, something we didn’t see in the anime, but it’s there. Remember the scene where Rudeus claimed to be straight when challenged by a beastman?
The reason for this is that prior to that, Fitz advised Rudeus to reject duel challenges from beastmen during the mating period. So, when Rudeus was challenged, he thought that the beastman wanted to mate with him.
Who’s the Mysterious Girl in Mushoku Tensei 2 Ep 8?
Who’s the mysterious girl who appears in front of Rudeus and doesn’t say anything, and might not even appear in the anime again? Her name is Nina Farion, and she’s involved with Eris. It’s not a big deal, but I’ll leave it in a spoiler tag in case you want to read it.

Well, you know that Eris left Rudeus to go train. Eris is training in a certain location and there she meets this girl, Nina Farion, who’s also training there. They become rivals, and Eris talks about Rudeus. So, Nina decides to travel and see the kind of man Eris fell for. We might even get an OVA showing this, probably. fonte
The Demon King Badigadi
It might not seem like it, but Badigadi appearing at the academy is a big deal, and the news spread quickly. All the knights were mobilized to go to the academy.
While Rudeus was dueling with Badigadi, several soldiers had surrounded the academy. Do you know why Badigadi suggested to Rudeus that he hit him with an attack?
It was because Rudeus mentioned that he managed to injure Orsted’s hand. So, Badigadi wanted Rudeus to use the magic that injured Orsted on him. Obviously, there’s something between them that hasn’t been revealed.
And finally, a little fact about Julie, the former slave bought by Zanoba, Rudeus, and Sylphie. She’s afraid of Rudeus. She fears him after witnessing how strong Rudeus is.
