Is Pieyon Kazeno from Kaguya-sama?
Is Pieyon Kazeno from Kaguya-sama? For those who don’t know, Pieyon is a mysterious muscular YouTuber who helped Ruby, Kana, and Memcho in their idol activities in the anime Oshi no Ko.
However, every time he appears, he is always wearing a mask and using a funny voice to prevent his real identity from being leaked.
His identity has not been revealed in the manga yet, but fans speculate that Pieyon is Kazeno from Kaguya-sama. Let’s understand!
Is Pieyon Kazeno from Kaguya-sama?
For those who don’t know, Kaguya-sama and Oshi no Ko are two works by the same author, Aka Akasaka, and because they are from the same author, he made sure to have both stories take place in the same world. In fact, there is a certain character in Oshi no Ko who is the younger sister of a character in Kaguya-sama.
Since both anime take place in the same world, considering that Kaguya-sama is set in the past of Oshi no Ko, there is a certain character in Kaguya-sama who could have become Pieyon, and that character is Kazeno.
Kazeno is the captain of the Red Cheer Club and becomes friends with Ishigami. During the Heart Festival, he starts dating Iino’s friend, Kobachi, as we saw in the third season of Kaguya-sama.
Some things happen to him (which I can’t disclose, but if Kaguya-sama has a fourth season, you will surely find out), and Kazeno ends up becoming a big fan of idols.
We know from Memcho that Pieyon was involved with idols before, so we have a first connection here. The second connection is that Kazeno and Pieyon have similar bodies. Kazeno is tall and strong, and Pieyon may have ended up like him.
And now comes the biggest clue: Kazeno and Pieyon have the same voice actor! Taishi Murata! Aka has not confirmed the fans’ theory, but what do you think? Does it fit? Could Pieyon really be Kazeno?
