The official X (formerly Twitter) account of the Rock Man franchise (the Japanese name for Mega Man) has announced that the 1994 Mega Man animated series is now available for streaming on multiple platforms in Japan as of December 20

This marks the first time the series has been released with Japanese subtitles, along with the message: “A Mega Man no one knows about is here!”
This animated adaptation of Mega Man, based on the iconic video game franchise by CAPCOM, originally aired between 1994 and 1995, spanning two seasons with 27 episodes. The voice cast includes Ian James Corlett as Mega Man and Rush, Jim Byrnes as Dr. Light, Robyn Ross as Roll, and Scott McNeil as Dr. Wily and Proto Man.
The Legacy of Mega Man
Known as Rock Man in Japan, the first Mega Man game debuted in 1987. The franchise boasts 11 main titles, with the latest entry, Mega Man 11, released in 2018. Mega Man’s universe has expanded through sub-series like Mega Man X, Battle Network, Zero, ZX, and Star Force, each featuring unique protagonists taking on the name Mega Man.
