Webtoon plagiarized Kaguya-sama and Oshi no Ko

A Webtoon plagiarized Kaguya-sama and Oshi no Ko, two works by the author Aka Akasaka. The webtoon, written by Noh Gatryand and YLAB, and illustrated by Oh Young, titled “I Want to Date a Girl,” was canceled after being accused of plagiarizing entire plot developments, scenes, and dialogues.

“I Want to Date a Girl” was published on the Naver Webtoon platform until its cancellation on September 10th. Essentially, what happened is that Korean fans noticed that many scenes in the webtoon had been copied from Kaguya-sama and Oshi no Ko.

It wasn’t just the scenes; even the story’s development resembled Kaguya-sama. After this discovery, there was nothing to be done, and the title was canceled.
