VTuber who sang Oshi no Ko theme receives Knife comments

There is a Thai Vtuber called Laibaht who loves the anime Oshi no Ko, she covered the opening theme Idol, talked about the anime in more than one live, talks about Oshi no Ko on her twitter, she really likes the anime.

But along with her hype for the anime came a problem. Bad taste comments are being made on her videos, let’s understand what’s going on.

As I said, Laibaht is the VTuber who sang Oshi no Ko theme, “Idol”, which is the opening of the anime on her channel, you can check it out below:

And what’s going on? Basically some people made nasty comments on some of her videos, comments like “be careful with knives” and with flower and knife emotes for her.

See the print below in which Vtuber herself compiled and posted on her profile:

For those who haven’t seen Oshi no Ko I’ll have to give a spoiler here, the character Hoshino Ai is killed in the first episode, she dies when a stalker appears in front of her apartment and stabs her.

That’s why people are commenting with a knife icon, since Vtuber Laibaht is being created by Ai, people are commenting with a knife.

Oshi no Ko Cosplayers Having Problems?

Laibaht’s post had over 200,000 views on Twitter, among the many people who saw her post, we have a cosplayer who commented something new to me.

According to her, she had plans to make an Oshi no Ko cosplay to go to events, however, she has been reading reports of people cosplaying the Oshi no Ko characters and people with fake knives approaching the cosplayers to simulate what happened to the Oh in the anime.

The concern comes if someone has a real knife and some accident really happens. I don’t know if this is really something that is actually happening, but at least the knife comments are real.
