Her name is Kurokawa Claire, the ninth daughter of Kurokawa Akira, owner of the Kurokawa Group. Claire’s father is getting old and wants to leave his huge company to someone.
However, he wants to leave it to a man, and here’s the problem: he only had daughters, no sons. So, he proposes a game: each of his daughters should come up with a suitor for a husband, and each couple will compete in various games. The winning couple will marry and lead the Kurokawa Group.
It’s a showdown of Claire vs. her sisters and their suitors!
Claire is the only one without a suitor, and she was searching for one using the nail trick. Our seemingly innocent guy is the only one who notices, and the rest of the chapter is quite intriguing because it’s revealed that he’s a gambling genius. He tests Claire to see if she’s worthy to be his partner in this game.
