During the Anime Expo 2023 event, the most random thing possible was announced. Warner announces an isekai anime of Suicide Squad animated by Wit Studio (the same studio behind Attack on Titan).

What we know about the anime so far is that its official name is “Suicide Squad Isekai.” The story is being written by Tappei Nagatsuki (author of Re:Zero and co-author of Vivy) and Eiji Umehara (Vivy).
The music is composed by Kenichi Suehiro, character design by Naoto Hosoda, directed by Eri Osada, character design drafts by Akira Amano (Hitman Reborn), and it will be produced by Wit Studio. The anime is set to be released in 2024.
