Shunpei Maruyama, Producer of Princess Principal, Passes Away
The passing of Shunpei Maruyama was announced this Tuesday. Previously, he served as the president of the anime studio Actas, a studio recognized for producing anime such as Girls and Panzer and Princess Principal.
Maruyama was an animation producer for both anime series, including the 2015 anime film Girls and Panzer der Film, as well as the six-part film series Princess Principal: Crown Handler (of which three parts have been released).

During his tenure at Actas studio, Shunpei Maruyama also produced series like Nighthead Genesis, Kotetsushin Jeeg, Kowarekake no Orgel, Mayo elle Otokonoko, and more.
