It’s not uncommon for artists who began their careers drawing hentai to eventually transition to mainstream manga. That’s exactly the case for Mucha, a female manga artist best known for her work in the netorare hentai genre.

Before entering the general manga market, Mucha made a name for herself through several adult manga series—specifically, those with netorare themes. Three of her works even received anime adaptations:

Mako chan Kaihatsu Nikki

  • Chii-chan Kaihatsu Nikki (2020)

  • Mako-chan Kaihatsu Nikki (2021)

  • Chizuru-chan Kaihatsu Nikki (2021)

All three are well-known within the R18 community and gained popularity among viewers familiar with that niche.

Mahou Shoujo 201 is a comedy filled with ecchi moments, centered on a villain named Sexy Fujiyama—real name Fujiyama Shinobu. She works as a general in a villain organization trying to take over the city. However, her efforts are constantly thwarted by a magical girl.

Struggling financially and blaming the magical girl for her situation, Fujiyama lives in a small apartment. One day, someone moves in next door, and to her horror, it turns out to be none other than her archenemy: the magical girl Mashiro Mamu.

Luckily for Fujiyama, Mamu doesn’t recognize her in civilian clothes. Seeing an opportunity, she decides to get closer to Mamu and discover her weaknesses. However, this is easier said than done—Mamu is terrifyingly strong.

In one hilarious moment, Fujiyama enters Mamu’s apartment and finds torture tools and a punching bag with her own face on it, which Mamu uses for training.

Thus begins a double life for Fujiyama, who now shares a building with the girl constantly ruining her villainous plans. With strong ecchi elements and comedic flair, Mahou Shoujo 201 seems like the kind of manga that could eventually get an anime adaptation.

Mucha also runs a YouTube channel where she shares behind-the-scenes videos, including her workspace and drawing process. Fans of her previous work and newcomers alike can get a closer look at her creative journey

The fact that a netorare hentai artist now has manga in Ultra Jump is a testament to how diverse the manga industry can be. Mahou Shoujo 201 delivers laughs, fanservice, and an original twist on the magical girl formula—an exciting evolution in Mucha’s career.
