Monster Energy drink already sued Monster Musume
Did you know that Monster Energy already sued Monster Musume? Days ago we reported here that Monster Energy Drink has already sued Pokémon for the use of the word ”Monster” because of the name ”Pocket Monster”.
Fans were then curious to know which other famous brands that use the word “Monster” that the energy drink has already gone after and discovered that several brands in Japan have been targeted by the drink.
They want the word all to themselves and will fight to the end. The Monster Energy rights holder has applied to the Patent Office to cancel the registration of several trademarks with the word ”Monster” in Japan.
Monster Energy drink already sued Monster Musume
There are now over 134 complaints in Japan against games including Pokemon, Monster Hunter, Monster Strike and they have also filed an objection against Ubisoft’s Gods and Monsters brand.
Believe it or not, Monster has also gone after the Toronto Raptors basketball team, claiming that the cut basketball resembled the Monster brand M and could confuse customers.
And a representative of the horror game Dark Deception: Monsters and Mortals is in a fight with the Monster Energy Company over the use of the word ”Monster”.
