Maou Gakuin Enters Its Final Arc After Years of Publication

Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha Enters Its Final Arc With Volume 17 of the Light Novel

Kadokawa has revealed that Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha enters its final arc with the upcoming release of Volume 17, scheduled for August 8. The light novel series, written by Shu and illustrated by Yoshinori Shizuma, began in April 2017 on the Shōsetsu ni Narō website.

The story follows Anoth, a Demon King who, tired of endless bloodshed and destruction, reincarnates hoping for a peaceful life. 2,000 years later, he attends a school built in his old castle, alongside his descendants. But in this weakened magical era, no one is able to recognize Anoth’s true power.

The manga adaptation of Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha debuted in July 2018 on Square Enix’s Manga UP! website. Unfortunately, it was canceled in July 2021 due to the health issues of artist Kayaharuka, who sadly passed away that same month.
