Korean Webtoon accused of plagiarizing Mushoku Tensei using an AI. Yet another controversy involving AI. Basically there is a webtoon called ”The Knight King Who Returned With a God” that was released on May 22nd and so far has 12 chapters.
It turns out that the webtoon has certain scenes very similar to the Mushoku Tensei anime.
And like, the scenes are very similar which suggests the reason for the accusations made by Mushoku Tensei fans. Anyway, see the images for yourself and draw your own conclusions.

They admitted that they used AI in the process of producing the illustrations, which is a very touchy subject these days. And as if that weren’t enough, they were also accused of copying the Guardians of the Galaxy character Groot:
All dashboards that used AI were removed and an apology was issued. Although Japan is heavy on copyright issues, there is still no official statement from those responsible for Mushoku Tensei.
