Users pointed out certain elements that were allegedly copied from other sources in the promotional video below:
A user created a compilation video in which we can see three scenes that bear a striking resemblance to the music video for “Yuusha” by YOASOBI, the opening of Sousou no Frieren, the second season opening of Mushoku Tensei, and the opening “Black Catcher” from the anime Black Clover.

Obviously, the similarities in the animations have generated comments from the Japanese community:
“This company is always copying.”
“The speed at which they copy is truly impressive.”
“It’s just a foolish Japanese person who doesn’t appreciate it when a big company like this takes inspiration from them.”
“There are no copyrights on staging, so it’s fine!”
“They’re copying way too quickly.”
“We should be grateful for them copying us.”
“I play games from this company, but their credibility as a company is nearly zero.”
“The controversy of completely copying the composition of an anime’s opening (or ending), I feel like I’ve seen this before, but when was it?”
This is not the first time miHoYo has faced plagiarism accusations, and here we have another scandal involving one of their flagship titles, Honkai Impact 3rd.
