Hololive Vtubers are profitable
Hololive Cover revealed in its financial results for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2024 that the annual revenue per Vtuber exceeded 300 million yen proving that Hololive Vtubers are profitable.
Operating profit for the quarter was 2.3 billion yen, an increase of 162.5% over the same period in the previous business year. Income was 2.3 billion yen, leaving the final profit at 1.65 billion yen, increasing 154.6% over the same period last year.
Hololive Vtubers are profitable
Hololive’s Japanese channels currently have a total of 51.23 million subscribers, an increase of 16.7% compared to the same period last year.
As you can see, Hololive’s Vtubers generate an annual revenue of 304 million yen per Vtuber. And the graph below shows the growth of Hololive’s Vtubers subscribers.
51.23 million subscribers are from Japan and 28.12 million are English-speaking fans. Indonesia constitutes the third largest fan base with 9.3 million subscribers.
Many people are starting to find Vtubers interesting and becoming passionate fans whether in Japan or elsewhere in the world. Vtubers win over many people!
