Gimai Seikatsu Author Denies Report About Second Season
The author of Gimai Seikatsu took to his Twitter profile to deny a report that a second season had been announced. According to what he said:
“While I was doing some ego-searching, I ended up finding a post that made it seem like Gimai Seikatsu had a second season confirmed, but no decision of that kind was made.
Some people may have mistaken it for a recent announcement of mine, but I do not have the authority to decide on the second season of the anime.
I will continue to do my best, but this is not an easy task, so please continue to support the project without being impatient with results.”
What happened, according to what I was able to find out, is that the profile that “leaks announcements” of anime, SugoiLite, published that Gimai Seikatsu has a second season in production, you can see the print below:
After the author denied the news, SugoiLITE privated his profile and then deactivated the account, after the whole situation became very ugly for him. From what is being said, Sugoi LITE used as a source for this news an interview with the author for a Chinese website.
In this interview, the author mentions that the second season of Gimai Seikatsu was in production, but when asked about the interview, the author said that this was a translation error and he never talked about a second season in production for Gimai Seikatsu.
