Adult Manga Removed from Stores Due to Plagiarism

Another artist blatantly copies others’ work, thinking that with so many people reading manga nowadays, no one would notice. Recently, an adult manga was removed from stores due to plagiarism! For example, when accessing the manga’s link on Fanza, it is no longer possible to purchase it.

The manga in question is called Chichi no Saikon de Doukyo suru Koto ni Natta Gibo no Gijou Shimai to Kawarugawaru Sex shite shimatta Hon and is by the “artist” Sori. It was released recently, but fans quickly noticed that it copied the works of at least two other artists.

Fans discovered that Sori copied at least two other adult artists, Kisaragi Gunma and Sentaku Kyouka. Unfortunately, we cannot show the plagiarized scenes here since they are from explicit content, but they can be found on Cakemoe.

Shall we see what Japanese users are saying about the case?

  • “This is horrible.”

  • “It’s a complete copy, right? At least try to disguise it a bit better.”

  • “How do people even notice these things? Like, ‘Oh! I’ve seen this composition in that adult manga before!’ Who normally pays attention to that?”

  • “This happens even among adult manga…? I’d love to see this go to court and watch lawyers analyze the images in a trial.”

  • “I read the one about the childhood friend. The premise was good, but the story itself felt shallow and sloppy. I’d rate it a B.”

  • “At least copy from a more obscure author, right?”

  • “Why would they even do something like this…?”

  • “Wasn’t this manga really popular? Well, they’re screwed now.”

  • “Why copy so blatantly…? You could at least change the characters’ positions, invert the page direction, or just copy one panel per page. But whoever noticed this is a genius.”

As mentioned earlier, the manga was removed from stores after the plagiarism was discovered, which is a common outcome. This is not the first time an adult manga has been pulled from major stores after fans exposed an artist for plagiarism.
