Hobby Japan Magazine Bans Online Page Uploads
Are you acquainted with the Hobby Japan magazine? It’s incredibly popular within the otaku community and is also responsible for releasing RPG games, anime-related action figures, and much more.
A prominent feature often spotted in the pages of the Hobby Japan Magazine are covers adorned with Gundam figures. Personally, I’m not acquainted with the magazine, but I’d speculate that Gundam collectors are quite familiar with it.

As you probably know, fans love to purchase manga, magazines, and watch anime while also sharing their favorite pages or scenes, right? It’s quite common to see magazine pages circulating on social media or blogs. However, Hobby Japan aims to put an end to this practice.
In an announcement, they’ve declared that sharing pages from their magazines on social media or blogs is illegal. They stress that sharing the photos they publish on their profiles is permitted.
They caution that those caught sharing their magazine pages may face legal action as it constitutes of their copyright violation.
As the years pass, print magazine sales decline while digital content sales surge. Imagine if more magazines begin to prohibit the online publication of their pages?
