Keisuke achieved this impressive level of fitness while still in his teenage years. He competed in the National High School Men’s Bodybuilding Championship in Japan, in the division for athletes up to 1.70m tall. On the day before the competition, Keisuke weighed 79 kilograms.

Keisuke finished second in his division. Despite the excellent result, he commented: “I’m disappointed, but I’ll keep doing my best.” His father, Yusuke Murata, also shared words of encouragement: “My eldest son finished as the runner-up. Great effort!”
