On December 28, creator Yomogimochi announced on their X (formerly Twitter) account that the manga will be renamed Kiss Yori mo Kimi no Neiro de Me ga Sameru (Your Timbre Brings Me to My Senses More Than a Kiss Would), resuming serialization this spring under the new title.

This captivating story blends music and romance, following Chihaya Katagiri, a skilled trumpeter who has always led her school’s brass band. Her world changes when Hibiki Aikawa, a talented transfer student from a prestigious school, takes her spot. Despite initial rivalry, the two develop a deep bond while navigating personal challenges and the pressure of their final high school competition.

The manga first debuted independently in April 2020 on Pixiv and X, later gaining serialization on LINE Manga in March 2021. To date, Gentosha Comics has published seven volumes in Japan, with the latest released on December 24, 2023. For English readers, Tokyopop has been publishing the series, with the second volume released on November 26, 2023.
