Pretty Chuu Idol Scandal: Teen Claims Rape, Pregnancy by Producer’s Boyfriend

In May of this year, a new idol group produced by influencer and producer Yurinya officially started, this idol group is called Pretty Chuu, and as its owner wanted, the group represents the concepts of: “strength”, “transience”, “innocence” and “pure heart of a maiden”.
A growing controversy is surrounding the Japanese idol industry after a shocking claim made by 19-year-old idol Shuna Amamiya, also known as Ten-ten from the group Pretty Chuu. According to multiple reports, the young singer has accused the boyfriend of the group’s producer, influencer Yurinya, of rape that led to a pregnancy and abortion.
Pretty Chuu Idol Scandal: Teen Claims Rape, Pregnancy by Producer’s Boyfriend
The Pretty Chuu idol scandal first came to light on August 1, when well-known Japanese YouTuber Korekore revealed the allegations during a livestream. The information was later confirmed by Yurinya herself, who issued a public apology and cut all ties with her boyfriend, Taichi Saito.
In her statement, Yurinya expressed regret, stating:
“I am deeply saddened and feel a strong sense of responsibility that someone I trusted, Taichi Saito, committed such an extremely irresponsible and inconsiderate act.”
She emphasized that she denounces his actions and is taking measures to support the affected idol.

According to Korekore’s report, Amamiya was secretly undressed and filmed while sleeping in Yurinya’s home. Later, Saito allegedly assaulted her while she was unconscious, resulting in a pregnancy that ended in abortion. Although Saito sent apologetic messages via LINE, he also allegedly offered a settlement of ¥1 million (~$6,300 USD) in exchange for silence.
Amamiya eventually filed a police report after seeking help from Korekore.
The Tokyo police are currently investigating the Pretty Chuu idol scandal, but since the incident occurred in private, conclusive evidence is still pending. Both sides have given conflicting accounts:
-
Amamiya insists there was no consent and she was under the influence.
-
Saito claims the encounter was consensual and initiated by her.
To clarify the situation, Amamiya has requested medical records to confirm the timeline and determine whether the pregnancy was the result of the assault.
Amamiya has since left Pretty Chuu and retired from idol activities, stating publicly:
“There is no falsehood in my claims.”
Previously, the group had cited “chronic illness” as the reason for her hiatus. Fans recently noticed that Pretty Chuu now lists only five members on its Instagram, despite originally debuting with six.
Producer Yurinya has apologized to fans, staff, and the group, promising to strengthen internal protections and support systems for the idols.
