Recently, a crowdfunding campaign was launched to allow fans to support an anime adaptation of an Eroge (adult game) called Hamidashi Creative. The anime adaptation will consist of 12 short episodes, each lasting 2 minutes, and is scheduled to be released in 2024.
The project requested 10 million yen, which was achieved within 5 minutes of the crowdfunding campaign being opened! At this moment, the campaign has raised 32,577,505 yen! (which is approximately USD 225,707.57). 454 otakus have donated so far, and the campaign has 58 more days to run and raise more funds.
What is the Story of Hamidashi Creative?
Hamidashi Creative is an Eroge, an adult visual novel produced by Madosoft, which was released in 2020 in Japan (an English version is planned). The game is considered long, taking around 40 hours to complete.
The synopsis of Hamidashi Creative is as follows:
At the end of June, the seasons come to a halt. Widely known for being antisocial, Izumi Tomohiro spends his days quietly in the corner of the classroom… or so it should have been.
“Congratulations on being elected! It has been decided that you are now the next student council president!” Through a school initiative, an election was held by drawing lots. And Tomohiro is the lucky one who won the prize!
