The One Piece hater creates 300 emails to give 1 rate on IMDb

An apparent One Piece hater wants to sabotage the upcoming episodes featuring Luffy’s Gear 5, a highly anticipated moment for many fans.

The One Piece hater creates 300 emails to give 1 star on IMDb

And how does he plan to do it? Well, by giving a score of 1 to the particular episode on the IMDb platform, where individual episode ratings are allowed. He intends to give a score of 1 to episodes that highlight Luffy’s Gear 5.

As evidence, the Twitter user below claimed to have created around 300 email accounts to give the lowest rating to the next One Piece episode:

“I’ve finished creating three hundred email accounts to prepare for the next One Piece episode and give it a one-point rating. Give me the episode already!”

Based on his profile picture and other posts, he has been identified as a fan of Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan). Perhaps he fears that One Piece will surpass his favorite anime? Many Twitter users didn’t overlook what the One Piece hater had to say:

“Creating three hundred accounts to bombard One Piece with negative reviews is just being mentally retarded.”

“Oh, imagine how sad your life must be to go through all this trouble just for one anime episode.”

“Ah, he’s a Shingeki no Kyojin fan. I get it; you’re upset because Luffy will be more epic than your bird protagonist.”

“Don’t worry; it will all come back to him in October when his own series airs its final episode.”

“And speaking of failures, here’s an example.”

“Twitter users when they realize that MyAnimeList and IMDb scores don’t matter.”

“A complete waste of time, because, honestly, who cares about anime episode ratings? You should use these emails to send job applications instead, that way you’d be of some use.”

“This guy practically told us that he has nothing better to do. Aren’t you ashamed of yourself?”

Despite the comments, the One Piece hater seems determined to give the lowest rating to the next episode. This leads us to question whether we should really take platforms like IMDb seriously for anime ratings.
