Nukitashi Blu-ray Dominates Amazon Japan’s Rankings

Everyone wants to watch Nukitashi without any censorship—and that overwhelming demand is pushing the anime’s Blu-ray release to the top of Amazon Japan’s sales charts.

Known fully as Nukitashi, this anime is airing across various Japanese networks. While it’s technically labeled an “ecchi” anime, the uncensored version contains full-on sex scenes, leading many to classify it as borderline hentai. In fact, one broadcaster is only airing the audio to avoid showing the visuals altogether.

For fans in Japan, there are currently only three ways to access the uncensored version of Nukitashi:

• Watch on AT-X – A premium cable network that airs the anime in its uncensored form. However, not everyone in Japan subscribes to this channel.

• Stream Illegally – While fans have uploaded the uncensored version online, many Japanese viewers avoid piracy.

• Buy the Blu-ray – The most reliable and legal way to see everything without censorship. And based on sales rankings, this is exactly what thousands are doing.

As of now, Nukitashi’s Volume 1, Volume 2, and the Limited Edition of Volume 1 are all listed among the top sellers on Amazon Japan. At one point, these three versions even held the top three spots in the store’s anime Blu-ray category.

Some Japanese users speculate the Blu-ray might sell at least 5,000 copies, with others predicting it could surpass 10,000 units—a strong performance for a show with such explicit content.

It’s clear there’s major interest in seeing Nukitashi uncensored, and the Blu-ray pre-orders are proving it.
