Netflix to Take Aggressive Action Against Anime Leaks
In the last few days we have seen several animes having episodes leaked, for example 12 episodes of Ranma 1/2 are available with English subtitles, as well as series like Arcane and Heartstopper, even the first episode of the third season of Re:Zero was leaked.
The leaks come from Netflix and Crunchyroll, according to Netflix, they gave a statement, according to which it was a, Netflix itself was not compromised but rather one of their post-production partners that ended up having several projects leaked online.
However, Netflix said it is taking “aggressive measures” to take down the leaks. Crunchyroll has yet to comment on its leak, which is said to be episode 1 of Re:Zero, leaked during an event in France.
On the internet, fans who do not want to watch the leaks are asking Netflix to release the affected animes soon, to prevent spoilers from taking over the internet.
