Idol Misses Event After Receiving Harassment Threat
The idol group Mugan Startrail, in its effort to expand its fanbase, organizes various events to promote interaction between the members and their admirers. One of these events, held on August 3rd, was a barbecue intended to bring the idols closer to the public. However, not everything went as planned.
One of the members, Anna Ikeda, 25, did not attend the event, officially due to “health issues.” However, the real reason was much more concerning. Anna received a direct message (DM) on Twitter with a threatening content, which led her to skip the barbecue for safety reasons.

However, the event on August 3 was marked by the absence of Anna Ikeda, to which the group’s staff announced her absence on the same day, the other three members of the group attended the barbecue.
The reason given by the group in its statement regarding Anna Ikeda’s absence was “health problems.”
It turns out that this isn’t the real reason why Ikeda missed the barbecue. You see, the Twitter DMs of the idols of the group Mugan Startrail are open and as long as you are verified anyone can send them a DM.
And lo and behold, Anna Ikeda revealed that she received a message from someone saying that he would get her drunk enough so that he could take advantage of her at the barbecue.
Obviously fearing the worst and out of fear, she was unable to attend the barbecue. As I mentioned, the other three members went and apparently nothing out of the ordinary happened. It is worth mentioning that Anna Ikeda is the member with the most followers of the group on Twitter, so she may be the most popular girl.
It is always good to be careful with crazy people, but the question remains: why are the girls’ DMs open for anyone to send whatever they want? Some fans have wondered about this.
