Episode 1 of Oshi no Ko Adapted the entire Volume 1 of the Manga

Did you know that episode 1 of Oshi no Ko adapted the entire volume 1 of the manga? However, considering that the first episode is 90 minutes long and serves as a prologue to the story, this fact is not so impressive.

Considering that an anime episode is usually around 20-22 minutes long, the first episode of Oshi no Ko was equivalent to four episodes (if my calculations are correct), as it adapted the entire first volume of the story.

Oshi no Ko will have 10 more episodes, totaling the 11 that were announced. I think the anime will adapt up to volume 3 or part of volume 4. So far, the Oshi no Ko manga has 11 volumes released.

An interesting curiosity is that the art used on the cover of the first volume of the manga appeared in the first episode. Check out:

I think it’s cool how they put this reference from the cover of volume 1 of the manga during the anime, and this is a classic pose from the manga already.
