This Is How the AI Imagined Frieren Inside the Mimic

A constant joke in the anime “Sousou no Frieren” is that the protagonist, Frieren, who has her name in the anime title, enjoys sticking her head into chests, often encountering mimics—monsters disguised as chests.

The scenes are always the same, with Frieren putting her entire head inside and ending up stuck with the lower part of her body outside, calling for help.

A few weeks ago, we even featured a cosplayer who recreated this recurring event.

And then, an otaku decided to see how an AI would envision Frieren inside a box. Using an image-generating AI, this otaku said he asked the AI to draw a “girl inside a box,” and it reproduced Frieren once again being devoured by a mimic.

The AI truly captured the essence of Frieren trapped in a mimic. The amusing part, however, is seeing that it’s an Amazon box? No, forgive me, it’s “aNazon.” Could it be that even the AI was afraid of copyright complaints and changed the name of the company to avoid legal issues?

“Is this just Fern taking pictures and posting them, isn’t it?”

“It’s a horror movie. Look closely, it’s ‘anazon.'”

“She’s being swallowed by the box.”

“The Mimic logo has a cool touch of forgery.”

“While fully adapting to the trend, the only thing the AI doesn’t yield on is Amazon.”

“That one is a witch who has lived for a thousand years.”
