Rei Hiroe says 341 Sentodan will continue if it sell

Rei Hiroe, the author of Black Lagoon has another manga project already in publication called ”341 Sentodan”, but what is this manga about? Well, the story revolves around a girl named Ermina Shaumach, a noble girl from the Mordanian Empire that existed as far away from war as possible.

Even so, this girl ended up having to lead a Mordanian army battle party. It’s a war story that highlights the drama of young people on the battlefield.

The first volume of the 341 Sentodan manga contained an afterword where Rei Hiroe spoke of his depression, something he had spoken about before and that he has been suffering from since 2010, and the difficulties of drawing at the time.

Rei Hiroe said that he even thought about quitting the manga industry until he was asked to be part of the original planning and character designs for the 2017 Re:CREATORS anime.

He also only worked with manga when he had the desire to draw, Hiroe continued like this for a while saying that it was difficult to create a simple war story and that it would be okay to put monsters, magic or science fiction elements into the setting, and that’s all. would not satisfy him.

He ends by saying that he is drawing the manga out of self-interest and pleads with people to buy the manga so that it can continue.

341 Sentodan has been in publication since 2019, but the first volume was only released in March of this year, so you can see the slow pace at which the chapters are coming out.
