Aka Akasaka to Start New Manga
The manga Oshi no Ko is coming to an end this Wednesday, November 13, 2024, with the final chapter set to be released in Young Jump magazine and online on MangaPlus. Excitingly, we already know that the author, Aka Akasaka, has a new project in the works!
While we don’t have all the details yet, some readers have already seen the latest issue of Young Jump, which comes out on Wednesday. According to them, besides Oshi no Ko’s final chapter, the magazine also reveals that Aka Akasaka’s next manga is already planned.
Aka Akasaka to Start New Manga!
According to early information, the teaser for Aka Akasaka’s new manga reads: “In a fantasy world, there’s always a princess and a prince guided by destiny.”
The new manga is scheduled to debut in the spring of 2025, with artwork by Aji Chika, known for illustrating Record of Ragnarok.
Many fans are speculating that Aka Akasaka “grew tired” of Oshi no Ko and rushed the ending to start this new project. However, I think he simply has a lot of stories he wants to tell, and since finishing Kaguya-sama, he has decided to focus solely on writing.
Let’s stay tuned for more updates on Aka Akasaka’s new manga!
