Global Version of Tower of Fantasy Receives Wave of Negative Ratings from Chinese Players

The global version of the game Tower of Fantasy was released but it finds several connection problems among others, one of the problems that the game faces is the wave of notes 1 that the game has been receiving as an evaluation.

The reason for this is because the international version of Tower of Fantasy does not have an option to play in Chinese, so Chinese players are evaluating the game negatively as you can see in the screenshots below.

Chinese users are not happy with the global version of the game not having the option to play in Chinese and so they are evaluating the game negatively. These ratings do not appear if your device is in a language other than Chinese.

“Chinese server has been out for a long time but foreigners don’t deliberately don’t deliver in Chinese” wrote one user.

Another comment complained about the company ignoring that there are Chinese who no longer live in China.

“No Chinese on the international server? Isn’t your company Chinese? That’s disgusting! Every time Chinese is taken down, the game is obviously Chinese! Don’t you know that there are Chinese players outside of China too?”

When Tower of Fantasy was released in China, it generated controversy as it was discovered that they plagiarized certain things from MiHoYo’s Honkai Impact 3rd game. Despite these negative reviews, they weren’t enough to impact the game’s rating.
