The manga begins by introducing the servants who will participate in the War, placing the protagonist Iori in front of powerful enemies he will have to face during his journey as the Rider servant:
Iori is impressed by the strong presence of the Rider. In a situation where he was about to die, Iori ends up summoning his Saber servant for battle. The scene reminds us of Shirou summoning Saber in Fate/stay night.
