Man Steals 500 Pokémon Cards in Singapore
No, it’s not Team Rocket that the Singapore police arrested, but a 22-year-old man. People are stealing Pokémon cards as if they were gold, as 500 Pokémon cards were stolen in Singapore!
Here’s the story: since May 2023, the Singapore police have received reports of a series of Pokémon card thefts, happening in various stores, you got it? On May 9th, the regional police were called to deal with a man who had stolen boxes containing franchise cards.
Man Steals 500 Pokémon Cards in Singapore
The police managed to identify the thief after an investigation and it was discovered that he committed three other thefts on May 2nd, 4th, and 8th, and eventually, he was arrested.

The thief was charged in court earlier this week, on August 8th, with housebreaking under Section 380 of the Penal Code 1871 and fraudulent possession of property under Section 35(1) of the Miscellaneous Offences Act 1906.

The store has an alarm, but the thief managed to avoid triggering it by drilling through the wall. The store owner commented that all the merchandise was taken and the thief must have had help, as there were many boxes
