THE LOLI MUST STAY said Trigger to CD Projekt about Cyberpunk Edgerunners

The Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime is available on Netflix and is based on CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk game, the anime was animated by Trigger, which also animated Kill la Kill, SSSS.Gridman among others.

In Cyberpunk Edgerunners there is a character named Rebecca, who is a loli, it was revealed in a live about the anime that initially CD Projekt Red was against the inclusion of the character in the anime.

According to them, a loli-type character didn’t really fit in Night City, but Trigger didn’t accept it saying “The loli must stay” and so the loli stayed in the anime.
