In February 2017, Kadokawa announced that the light novel Biblia Koshodou no Jiken Techou, written by Mikami Eri with art by Koshijima Hagu, would have two films, a live-action film and an anime film.
In 2013 the light novel had already been adapted into a live-action series for TV, but in 2017 they announced these two films. Well, in 2018 the live-action film of the series came out in Japan:
The live-action film stars Haru Kuroki as Shioriko Shinokawa and Shuhei Nomura as Daisuke Goura. And now you wonder, is the movie in anime? Well, announced at the same time as the live-action movie in 2017, it’s 2023 and there’s still no news from him!
What remains are just assumptions apparently, what happened to the anime film of Biblia Koshodou no Jiken Techou? It’s been 6 years without any news! Did the production encounter various problems? Is it still in production but at a soooo slow pace? Or was it completely cancelled?
Maybe someday we’ll find the answer.
