Beast Tamer and Hoshi no Samidare remain Censored on Blu-ray
When an anime has ecchi scenes, like a bathing scene for the girls, we understand it being censored to be shown on TV, but when you pay for the Blu-ray and the scene is still censored, it’s annoying, Beast Tamer and Hoshi no Samidare are still censored in the Blu-ray and continue to disappoint fans.
Recently new blu-ray volumes of Beast Tamer and Hoshi no Samidare animes were released, these volumes containing episodes in which we have scenes in which the female characters appear with no clothes, their TV versions were censored but the blu-rays maintained the same censorship.
Beast Tamer and Hoshi no Samidare remain Censored on Blu-ray:
First let’s check out the Beast Tamer scene, in episode 8 we have a scene where two female characters are taking a bath in a lake, the TV version has a divine light covering everything and the blu-ray version didn’t dim it or removed it:

Another anime that did not withdraw its censorship was Hoshi no Samidare, as you can see in the comparisons below between the TV and Blu-ray versions, the black censorship remains:
Seeing some comments from the comparisons, fans are becoming irritated and questioning whether blu-rays will no longer come uncensored, whether regulation is here to stay even in this type of media.
