Recently, a new trailer for the romance anime “Ojou to Banken-kun” was released, which will premiere at the end of this month on September 29th. Produced by Studio Project No. 9 and based on the manga by Hatsuharu.

“Ojou to Banken-kun” is a typical shoujo anime about a girl whose father was the head of the Yakuza. After losing her parents in an accident, her grandfather takes care of her

During elementary school, she was avoided by her classmates because of her Yakuza family background. But now, in high school, where nobody knows her, she wants to live a normal life.

However, the Yakuza sends a 26-year-old man to the school to take care of and protect her. So, you can imagine the classic shoujo manga scenario, with the teenage girl and the older, handsome bodyguard protecting her.

“Well, I think this is okay since it shows how terrible the Yakuza is.”
“Cancel this now.”
“Why is this being adapted instead of genuinely good manga?”
“There are SO MANY good shoujo manga out there, but they keep choosing the worst ones to adapt.”

“While Westerners complain based on their morality, the Japanese enjoy their anime.”
“Relax, it’s anime, it’s fiction.”
