Idols teach disaster prevention to young people and adults
One thing that is very important to learn in Japan is what to do when disaster strikes, because of its geographical position, Japan is hit by earthquakes, tsunamis, typhoons, etc. So how about idols from Idolmaster teaching about disaster prevention?
In Tokyo recently, a disaster prevention event was held in collaboration with Idolmaster, all to attract young people and make them learn what to do in these kinds of situations.
The event gathered a lot of people and had idol Fuka Toyokawa teaching the public how to use an AED. In the story of The Idolmaster, Fuka is a former nurse who becomes an idol.
A 43-year-old office worker and Fuka fan said, “It makes me want to get actively involved in helping people.” One of the organizers of the event classified everything as a great success, he said that there was a good participation of young people (attracted by the idols) but also people from other generations.
