Did you know there is an ANTI NETORARE subreddit?

Reddit is like a forum where you can create mini-forums about various topics, so you can find a subreddit for almost every anime, game, manga, movie, and other subjects. However, I recently came across something quite funny and curious: an ANTI NETORARE community on Reddit.

The exact name of this community is “antiNTRcorps”, and it is quite large, with 17,000 “soldiers.” In its description, we find the following:

“A community dedicated to destroying harmful sexual activity. No more abandoned children suffering under the tyranny of ugly bastards. Not on our watch. You can call us A-NTR for short. Share wholesome memes, anime, manga, and fanarts so we can flood the internet with them and reduce the demand for NTR.”

The most interesting part is that the community is very active, with new topics created almost daily and plenty of comments. So, how about browsing through this community to see what kind of things are being said about netorare?

“I have to be honest, I feel that mother netorare is worse than regular netorare. Reading ‘Motherly’ by the artist Laliberte is terrible. I mean, what kind of mother does that kind of thing to her own child?”

“Motherly” is the name of an adult NTR manga about a mother, created by the artist Laliberte, who is already known for producing many works in this same genre.

“All his doujins are just about toxic, muscular antagonists stealing someone, or there’s that specific doujin that involves two girls (sisters, I think). The older sister is the first to get a boyfriend (the protagonist), and the other gets jealous. A few years later, the protagonist and the heroine get married, until one unfortunate night when the heroine’s sister shows up to visit them. But with a twist: she became a stripper and brought her boyfriend (a dirtbag brute)… you already know what’s going to happen.”

Dramus is another artist who creates a lot of netorare content, and the villains who steal the girls are always muscular. Probably, the manga referred to here is Dual Swap, where we have two sisters.

“Well, guys, after seeing various opinions and reading many comments about different hentais, it seems to me that people hate netorare works much more than those with lolicon, shotacon, or incest. Apparently, the reason for this is due to the elements of betrayal, sexual abuse, humiliation, and, in some cases, even the death of characters. Maybe these are the reasons why NTR works are so much more hated than the others. But what is your opinion on why netorare seems to be so much more despised than other genres?”

Is it really true that netorare is more hated than lolis? Remember that the term loli has even been banned on social networks, unlike netorare.

“I was seeing a discussion about the anti netorare channel and saw someone saying that this whole anti netorare thing is childish. Personally, I don’t agree. If we don’t like something, we have the right to boycott and criticize those who produce it and those who consume it.”

Many NTR stories really do involve blackmail as part of the plot to make the girl leave her boyfriend or husband. I even remember making a post about the “worst blackmails” I’ve ever seen in manga of this type.

Is elaborate revenge with torture and everything else really necessary?”

Browsing through the community a bit more, it’s clear that they also target the artist Terasu Mc, another well-known creator of netorare works. Some topics include: “Who is worse? Ratatat47 or Terasu Mc?” and “Can we agree that Terasu is one of the most pathetic artists of all time?” — people there really don’t like netorare.
