Fans Create a Database with All ReZero Side Stories
Tappei Nagatsuki, author of ReZero, is a writing powerhouse. So far, the ReZero light novel has reached volume 39. In addition to the main series, there’s also the “EX” series, with prequel stories totaling 5 volumes, and the “Tanpenshuu” series, which includes extra stories and has 11 volumes.
Even with these publications, there are many more ReZero side stories that Tappei continues to write. Some of these side stories contain critical information, but they’re often hard for fans to access.
To address this, the Witch Cult Translations group, which translates ReZero’s web novel chapters, created the ReZero Side Stories Database—a dedicated platform similar to MyAnimeList but exclusively for ReZero.
Fans Create a Database with All ReZero Side Stories
The site, called Rezerodb, provides detailed information on each side story. A major benefit is that the stories are organized by arcs, helping fans read them in the correct order.
For example, after completing Arc 1, there are 6 available side stories to read, followed by many more after Arc 2, and so on. Additionally, Rezerodb allows users to mark stories as “Read,” “Reading,” “Unread,” and “Dropped.” So far, the database includes a whopping 311 side stories!
The number is really insane but many are separated by several chapters.
The site arranges the stories conveniently and even provides links to each story. For instance, on the page for the side story “Emilia’s Capital Touring Chronicle,” you’ll see the “Prequel” tag, indicating that it takes place before the main story, and the “Read after Arc 1” tag, suggesting the ideal reading order.
Please note that not all side stories have full translations yet. You can check out the ReZero Side Stories Database via this link. This is a fantastic effort by fans to keep the ReZero universe accessible and up-to-date!
