Cloud Hearts Studio Website Goes Offline, Sparking Bankruptcy Rumors
The official website of Cloud Hearts Studio has been offline since at least Wednesday, October 23, 2024, making it inaccessible to all users. This sudden outage has led to widespread speculation that the studio may be facing bankruptcy.
Cloud Hearts is the studio behind the Yuri anime Sasayaku You ni Koi wo Utau, which aired in April this year but has yet to release its final two episodes, episodes 11 and 12. Adding to concerns, the anime had already faced a two-week delay between episodes 9 and 10 due to “production issues.” Furthermore, the Blu-ray release of the anime was also postponed due to “production circumstances.”
It’s worth noting that Yokohama Animation Lab, a parent company of Cloud Hearts, has quietly removed the Cloud Hearts branding from its website, a change that remains in effect. Fans are now speculating that Cloud Hearts may have gone bankrupt, and the website outage is seen as a possible indicator. Many are worried that the final two episodes of Sasayaku You ni Koi wo Utau may have been canceled as a result.
For now, it’s best to wait for further developments.
