Despite some complaints that some people may still have about Vtubers, the audience has spoken, and the result is that Vtubers are more watched than real girls across various streaming sites such as YouTube, Twitch, Trovo, Kick, among others.

These results come from the Stream Charts website, which compiles weekly, monthly, and quarterly rankings of the most-watched channels during those respective periods.
And the incredible outcome revealed by their latest rankings is that Vtubers outperform real women in viewership. Let’s take a look at the rankings, shall we? To start with, how about this ranking from the second quarter of this year, covering the months of April, May, and June, across all streaming platforms?
The ranking below showcases the most popular female streamers based on the number of viewers, and if you pay close attention to the ranking, all of them are Vtubers:
All of them are Vtubers! For instance, we are now in September, but let’s check out the ranking of the most-watched female streamers (only on YouTube) during the last week of August?
Out of the top 10 above, we have 9 Vtubers! And only Valkyrae as a streamer who shows her face, ranking 6th! According to Stream Charts, Vtubers show no signs of slowing down their rapid growth, which is why more and more Vtubers continue to emerge.
To put things into perspective, I used to follow a channel a few years ago where a woman created interesting videos about games she had played. Her videos were quite enjoyable and informative, and I liked her voice.
One day, she suddenly announced that she would be discontinuing her channel, so I thought something in her life had forced her to do so. A few years later, her channel was recommended to me again, so I rewatched some of her videos for nostalgia’s sake.
Her channel is still active but carries a notice stating that it’s inactive. Reading the comments, I discovered that she had become a Vtuber… I never knew about this, and I was genuinely surprised when I found out. For those unfamiliar, it was ValkyrieAurora’s channel.
Do you know Kson? Kson is a Vtuber who, while doing live streams as a Vtuber, also reveals her real face in other broadcasts. An interesting fact is that she has mentioned that she feels the audience prefers her when she appears as a Vtuber rather than when she shows her real face.
