Oshi no Ko manga are Sold Out in Bookstores in Japan
It is very normal when an anime premieres and is successful for people to start buying the original manga, and the Oshi no Ko manga are sold out in bookstores in Japan, even the manga illustrator, Mengo Yokoyari commented on the case.

Oshi no Ko is selling very well, at least the manga, according to Oricon, Oshi no Ko was the 3rd best selling manga in Japan with 680,052 total copies, ahead of Chainsaw Man for example and behind SPY x FAMILY and Blue Lock.

Mengo warned fans on his profile that new copies of Oshi no Ko will soon arrive in bookstores:
“Oshi no Ko’s manga is sold out, right? I haven’t confirmed it for sure, but it looks like we’ll have new copies in mid-May, I know it’s frustrating not being able to read what you want, but wait a little longer!”
